What are we celebrating?
We’re celebrating the grand opening of our new office! Come one, come all. We have a lot to celebrate: we’ve moved into a new location, we’re launching a new product, and we just hired a whole bunch of new people.
Where is it happening?
Our grand opening is happening at 823 9th Avenue, in the heart of Manhattan. We are located near the Lincoln Center and Columbus Circle/Time Warner Center. We’re just a short walk from three subway lines (A, B, C), plus several buses and cabs will get you here easily. If you’re driving, there is a parking lot with valet service on 57th Street between 9th and 10th Avenues that charges $40 per car for 24 hours (with validation).
When is it?
Join us on Saturday, October 6th at 10:00am PST for the grand opening of our new store! This is a free event, and all are welcome to attend. The address is 721 SW 13th Ave., Portland OR 97205. There will be parking available in the lot behind the store or on streets surrounding it (the closest street is 12th Ave.). To get here by public transit, take TriMet bus route #20 or #44 from downtown Portland or MAX light rail from Gresham Transit Center to Downtown/SW 11th Ave., then walk one block south on SW 11th Ave., turn left onto 13th Ave., continue two blocks east until you see our new location mid block between SW 12th & 14th Aves.
Will there be food & drink?
We’re happy to announce that there will be food and drink at our grand opening! It will be provided by a local restaurant, brewery, or winery. We know you’ll love it!
What can I expect to see?
Dress as if you’re going to a party. We want everyone to feel comfortable, so please don’t wear anything too formal or uncomfortable. Pants are perfectly fine!
You can expect food, drinks, live music and dancing—of course—and even more fun surprises! Make sure that when you arrive on the day of the event (or whenever else we have it) bring a friend or two with you for the ride. They’ll thank you later for making them come along!
As far as getting there goes: You’ll need transportation because this is an outdoor venue, but don’t worry about that yet. Once RSVPs start rolling in we’ll let everyone know where exactly everything will take place so they can plan accordingly.*
Can I bring my +1?
Yes, you may bring +1. But your +1 must be willing to participate in the festivities.
No, you cannot bring your pet. Pets are not allowed at our grand opening because we do not want them jumping around and making a mess of our beautiful new space!
No, you cannot bring your +1 if they are not willing to participate in the festivities! We will have games throughout the event which require all participants’ full participation; if they are unwilling to play along, then they will be asked to leave at once so that everyone else can enjoy themselves as well!

- Join us in celebrating our new space, filled with the best drinks and food around. Our theme this month is “The Roaring 20’s,” so be sure to dress accordingly! We’ll have live music, dancing, and even a few surprises up our sleeves.
- The venue is going to be breathtaking–you won’t believe what we’ve done with it!
- Details: The event will be held at our old location (123 Main Street) on Saturday at 4 p.m., with complimentary hors d’oeuvres from 3-4 p.m.. Please RSVP by Tuesday the 25th if possible so we can send out any last-minute invitations or reminders that may be needed. Tickets are $40 per person; children under 12 years old get in free (with an adult).
