Introduction
Fountain City has a beautiful fountain in the center of town. It’s a conversation piece because it’s very large and it’s always turning, which makes it look even more impressive. People come from all over to take pictures with the fountain, but I have never visited even though I see it every day on my way home from work or school.

You can also go for a walk around its curves and admire how pretty it is while getting some exercise by doing so.

You can see the Fountain City landmark from a great distance. It’s a conversation piece in itself and is often used as a background for selfies and pictures of friends on their trips to Fountain City. The fountain is located at the intersection of Hwy 96 and Hwy 521, so it is easily accessible from anywhere in town or around town.
You can walk up to it, sit down by it or even ride your bike through the water features that surround it. This makes this unique fountain an excellent place for people watching when visiting Fountain City!
It reminds me of the fountain in Rome.

The Downtown Fountain is a conversation piece. It’s that simple. It functions all year, but there are three certain times when it gets turned off for the season: in winter, spring and fall. The fountain is turned on in the summer months of June through August. During these times, you can enjoy live music at night and watch movies throughout the day with your family!

In case you haven’t noticed, there is a fountain in the middle of our city. It’s about five years old and it has been surrounded by construction for most of that time. But since it was finally finished last year, we can now enjoy this beautiful piece of art as part of our daily lives.
When I say “we”, I mean people who live here; not everyone visits the fountain on their way home from work or school. If you live in Fountain City and drive around town with any frequency, then chances are that you’ve seen this massive piece of concrete at least once before today (and probably several times). If not then take a moment right now to look out your window or step outside your front door because I promise that this beautiful structure is right there waiting for you!

I guess living in Fountain City is kind of like living in Bath, England, and not bathing very often. Bath is a city in southwest England that’s known for its natural hot springs, which are thought to be good for health. It was also the site of Roman baths built by the Romans back in the day.
Because of these baths, Bath has become an important tourist destination. The town even has a slogan: “Bath – A World of Hot Water.” If you haven’t been there before (or if you have but want to go again), I highly recommend visiting Bath!

The fountain is a wonderful addition to our downtown, and I’m so glad it was built. It’s beautiful and colorful, it brings life to the square and reminds us that we all need to slow down from time to time. It’s an inspiration, really!
