Why I Love Troy-Built Garden Tillers

Introduction

I love my Troy-built tiller! It's easy to use, lightweight, and has adjustable depth so I can go as deep as I need to. It also starts right up with just the pull of a cord. Plus, it comes in several sizes so you can choose the right one for your needs.

I'd never even heard of Troy-built before being given a tiller as a gift, but now that I have one and use it every day for my vegetable garden, I don't know how I lived without it.

I'd never even heard of Troy-built before being given a tiller as a gift, but now that I have one and use it every day for my vegetable garden, I don't know how I lived without it. Troy-built is a brand of garden tillers made in rural Ohio. These are not the cheap knockoffs you see at your local home improvement store. They are well-made and designed to last for many years with proper care. The first one I ever used was great but had some issues with durability and maintenance after several years of use by my parents (they both love gardening as much as me). However, when they told me they were finally replacing it with another model from TroyBuilt (the T110) because they needed something more powerful than what they had before so we could work together on the garden during growing season without problems… well… let's just say that was all the convincing I needed!

Here are my favorite things about this amazing tool.

Here are my favorite things about this amazing tool:

  • It's lightweight and easy to transport behind your lawnmower.
  • It has adjustable depth so you can go as deep as you need to.
  • It starts immediately with just the pull of a cord.
  • And it's easy to use!

It's easy to use.

The Troy-Bilt Cultivator is easy to start. It has a convenient electric starter that requires minimal effort to get the engine going.

It’s easy to use, with no complicated controls or settings to worry about—just turn the key and go!

It’s also quite portable, making it great for moving around your yard or garden. The tiller can be transported by hand, so you don’t need any special tools or equipment.

And there’s even an adjustment lever on the handlebar that allows you to choose between 5 different soil depths (0 inches through 6 inches), so you can customize your tilling needs accordingly.

The engine starts immediately with just the pull of a cord.

The Troy-built engine starts up immediately, with just the pull of a cord. The first time you use it, you may have to prime the engine by pulling several times on the cord before it will start. After that, all subsequent start-ups should be easy and effortless.

If your tiller won’t start after several pulls on the starter cord, check for gas leaks around your fuel tank cap for leaky hoses or contaminated fuel lines. If leaks are found, replace any faulty parts before trying again to start your machine.

It has adjustable depth so you can go as deep as you need to.

The Troy-Bilt BHD26H cultivator is a garden tiller that has an adjustable depth wheel for planting or composting. The depth can be adjusted anywhere from 1/2 inch to 3 inches deep, which is great for shallow root crops like carrots and radishes. It’s also perfect for going through your compost pile when you need it to be extra fine.

This tiller is powered by an 11 amp motor, so it will plow through soil with ease! If you’d prefer a larger engine size, check out their other models with 15 amp motors (see below).

It's lightweight and easy to transport behind your lawnmower.

One of the things I love about the Troy-Bilt garden tiller is how easy it is to transport. It weighs only 53 pounds and has a very compact design, making it easy to carry around. I can take it with me on my lawnmower, as well as use it in my flowerbeds, vegetable garden or even in my flower gardens. The tiller is lightweight enough that I can even lift it up and hitch for riding on my tractor!

It comes in several sizes so you can choose the right one for your needs.

After reading this review, you’ll be able to decide which Troy-built tiller is right for you.
