Sense-Ational Sir Harold Hillier Gardens at Ampfield This interactive border incorporates sight, smell, touch, taste, and hearing with vibrant colours, fragrant plants, soft leaves, edible plants, and the sounds of rustling grass.

More Highlights

  • A Living Well Garden for Diabetes UK, created by Kate Pomeroy, will combine the art of gardening with the science behind diabetes management.
  • Hillier’s plant experts will be on hand at the BBC Gardeners’ World Magazine Stage and Subscriber Club Lounge with 1:1 advice pods about gardening and a large plant shop.
  • The BBC Gardener’s World team will be introducing the “Make a Metre Matter” campaign, encouraging people to transform just one metre of outdoor space for the good of the planet.

Workshops and Talks

Visitors to the fair can look forward to a range of workshops, including:
