Some are part of larger parks or attractions, while others are simply tucked away in small towns where you wouldn’t expect them to be. Each one will give you an entirely new perspective on what it means to garden with rocks!

The Capitol Reef National Park in Torrey, UT
The Capitol Reef National Park is a beautiful place to visit, especially if you’re interested in geology. The park features numerous rock gardens and other natural formations that were created by the forces of nature over millions of years. The oldest rocks in the park are called the Fish Haven Sandstone, which was formed around 300 million years ago during the Pennsylvanian period.
During this time period, Colorado Plateau region was an ocean covered with sandy beaches that were rich in marine life. Over millions of years this ocean deposited thousands of feet worth of sand onto what would become Utah’s landscape today forming its current topography known as “The Great Unconformity”. During this time period there were also massive volcanic eruptions creating ash flows that now make up much of Capitol Reef’s landforms such as Grand Wash Cliffs & Waterpocket Fold; both being great examples for exploring with your family!
If you’re looking for something more adventurous then try hiking one or all three trails located within this national treasure including Cathedral Valley Trail loop which can either be done clockwise or counterclockwise through colorful hoodoos while taking advantage at viewing sites along your journey including several stunning viewpoints such as Chimney Rock & Tower Arch!

It was created because two nations (Canada and United States) wanted to preserve this beautiful area for future generations to enjoy. The park has many natural attractions including mountains, lakes, rivers and glaciers.
Stone Mountain State Park, NC
Stone Mountain is a monadnock, which means that it is an isolated mountain or hill that rises abruptly from gently sloping or level surrounding land. It’s the highest point in North Carolina and the site of an ancient volcano.
Stone Mountain State Park is home to many caves, including Linville Caverns and Devil’s Hole Cave, as well as beautiful waterfalls like Laurel Creek Falls, Bearwallow Creek Falls and Trillium Falls.

The Denver Botanic Gardens is a beautiful place to visit, and its rock garden is no exception. The rock garden features over 300 plant species, as well as a waterfall, koi pond and bridge. This mini-garden also has so much more to offer: it has a water wheel for kids to play on; you can go inside the pavilion or gazebo if you want some shade; there’s even an outdoor fountain!

The owner of the rock garden loves to collect old things and put them in his garden because they make people stop and look at them when they are driving by on the road.

Door County is located in the southeastern part of Wisconsin, right along Lake Michigan. In the spring and summer months, you can see wildflowers blooming everywhere.
The best time to visit is during their annual Flower Weekend when they have a celebration with live music, food vendors and lots of activities for kids! If you do go on this weekend make sure to get there early so you can get parking (it’s crowded!) or take public transportation (the park is only a few blocks away from the bus stop). Holding onto your ticket stub will get you into any other event throughout that year for free! You’ll also want to bring some bug spray because it’s buggy here; I recommend spraying yourself down before getting off the bus just in case some mosquitoes have already gotten inside somehow…
When heading over there make sure not to forget anything like sunscreen because it gets hot outside all day long – but don’t worry about bringing too many things because there are plenty shops nearby where
