Boston Bounty (1 of 8): A house designed by Gustav Stickley in greater Boston called for gardens just as artisanal and exploratory as the architect. The house is just visible at the right, with the street itself just visible at the left. The owners requested that the entire front lawn be eliminated in favor of huge beds. Louis suggested this cross-walk of brick.
Some years after planting, the gardens are at their peak of enthusiasum.
